The article about humanity that I have read is "Kindness:Everybody Needs It" by Rubel Shelly. It is based on a true story of a single mother name Colleen Gallagher who had hard times on raising her two sons. Her husband did not offer her any help so she had to work as a waitress in an upscale Chicago bar.Recently,a CEO of an investment company - John Boc came to the bar where Gallagher worked.

After having a simple conversation with Gallagher,he realised that Gallagher was ,in his words,"feeling blue' and upset over the tough situation she was facing with her boys. When it was time to foot the bill,Bac added a 1000 dollar tip for Gallagher. She was instantly touched. Then Bac pulled out a credit card and offer her 10,000 dollars with asking for anything as repay. There was no flirting or any request for phone number.Through CNN news - this isn't the first time Bac is being generous.Ms.Gallagher made use of the money to purchase an apartment.

"Life is too short to be feeling blue" this is what John Bac has mentioned.Of course not everyone can be as rich as John Bac but we can offer our help, show our sympathy and kindness through other ways. For example help the poor or disable by spending time cleaning their houses or even just stop by for a visit.Life is too short and too hard for us not to care about one another.

In my opinion, humanity is one of the main element for human being to live peacefully on this earth. But in reality, this value seems like disappearing day by day...
The article that i had read was "Throwing Stone" by Tim Archer. It is a meaningful article and i learn some moral values from it. The values i learnt from this article are everybody does has sin and does mistakes, we must think about our sins first before we are going to punish or do something bad towards others.
The girl in the article was caught and had to be punished because she was involved in adultery. But the boy does not appear to receive the punishment with the girl. The crowd were insisting to throw the stone towards that girl and Jesus was asked to determine this punishment. Finally Jesus, looked up, met their gaze, and said, "Fine. Stone her. But let the first stone be thrown by the one among you who has no sin." With those words, the accusers became the accused. The trap they had set for Jesus had spoiled. They slipped away one by one because each of them is very conscious of his own sin.
Just for a few sentences, Jesus saved a life...
The story will always remind me to think about our mistakes or sins before we accuse others...

The article that I read is entitled "Science and Humanity in the Twenty-First Century" by Sir Joseph Rotblat. Before I comment about the article that he wrote. Let me brief a little bit the writer's biography. Sir Joseph Rotblat was a Polish born Jew and British naturalised physicist. His work on nuclear fallout was a major contribution to the agreement of the Partial Test Ban Treaty. A signatory of the Russel-Einstein manifesto, he was the secretary general of the Pugwash Conferences on Science and World Affairs from its founding until 1973. In conjunction with the Pugwash Conferences, he received the Nobel Peace Prize in 1995 for their efforts towards nuclear disarmament.

The article can viewed online by visiting this website: http://nobelprize.org/nobel_prizes/peace/articles/rotblat/index.html

This article talks about the relationship between the advancement in science and technology and humanity. In the 21st century, we can see many types of advancements in science such as in medical, economy, communication and many more. Besides that, science has also contribute in the development of nuclear weapons. As what sir Joseph Rotblat has said, although the only actual use of nuclear weapons so far only occurred in 1945-when two Japanese cities were destroyed-during the four decades of the Cold War, obscenely huge arsenals of nuclear weapons were accumulated and made ready for use. This actually means there are a few countries in this world currently have a certain amount of nuclear weapon in their possession. The question here is: why these countries need such nuclear weapons? Is the nuclear weapon is a necessity? Sir Joseph Rotblat also mentioned in his article that the nuclear arms race was driven by scientists. These scientists keep on designing new types of weapons, not because of any credible requirement-arsenals a hundred times smaller would have sufficed for any conceivable deterrence purpose-but mainly to satisfy their inflated egos, or for the intense exhilaration experience in exploring new technical concepts. As a conclusion, all countries should not have intention to develop the nuclear weapon in order to maintain peace and humanity in this world.

Humanity article is a meaningful valuable article that all people should focus on it. Compared to the other articles(for example romantic story),this type of article is more relevant to our life.
There is an article about humanity that i want to share to all is " A Piece of True Love". This article is tell about the memory of a kindness father to his son. At a fundraising dinner for a school that serves learning-disabled children, the father delivered a speech that would never be forgotten by all who attended. His son is a physically and mentally handicapped child. His son is disable to do any things normal like other child.
But,one day in the evening, the father and his son had walked past a park where some boys were playing baseball. His son asking for join them. The father knew that most of the boys would not want someone like his son on their team, but father understood that if his son were allowed to play,it would give him a confidence to be accepted by other.Because of lack of members, his son is allowed to join. From the failure to play, his son finally can play well and won the game for his team. His son is cheered as a hero. The father feels touch with tears because the boys helped bring a piece of true love and humanity into his world.
His son was died at that winter, having never forgotten being a hero and making his father so happy. After read this article, i feel touch. The values that i learnt from this article are self-confidence and never give up easly.
So,all of us should accept and helping people who are waiting for our care.

Human being rarely show their humanity in the real life nowadays. All the people became self-concern.This situation is more evidence in the city. However, there still have some people who full of humanity in their heart.
I have read a true story about humanity. The title is " Delayed duty for good cause".The website address: http://www.sundaytimes.lk/001217/plus7.html

The story talk about the bravery of a dipatch rider to save people. Cpl.R.P.R. Wick is a dispatch rider. He wass riding past the the Bank, carrying some official documents to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, when he heard gunshouts. What happen? Central Bank bomb blast.

At that time, all the people were screaming. They unharmed were running about in panic. A lot of dead and wounded lying on the ground. It was a scene of great commotion and distress.

Cpl.Wick who have army training experience reacted fast. He asked for help of bystanders to carry out the injured from the Bank and help to carry them to the ambulances. he called his office and explained the reason for his delay in delivering the document after he accompanied the patients to hospital.

Although Cpl.Wick failed to finish his work, but his act woluntarily to save people who were caught in the conflagration make him received the medal from the President and his daughter admitted to study in a schook by recommendation of Defence Ministry and the Army Welfare.

Cpl.Wick willing to help people and his bravery and humanity make him got the reward and solve his problem. I think this is the best return for him from the God because of his good intention.

The article that I read about humanity is "Bridging Humanity to Nature" by James Endredy.

One of the things that inspires me so much in the article is about the people involved in the New Age community is the undeniable sincerity and unpretentious good humor displayed by many of its members. But many of us, who openly acknowledge the shift in human consciousness occurring in this New Age find it difficult to reconcile our relationship with the greater web of life while living within modern society. I believe this is because homo sapiens have created a worldview that I refer to as the “island of humanity.” Within this view of reality humans are the most important species on the planet and thus are justified in their control and domination of all other living beings. On a personal level, he have spent the majority of my life trying to understand how we arrived on this island and, more importantly, how to get off it. Bridges are constructed with tools, solid materials and hard work. The work that he propose can be challenging; it’s not easy to step out of our comfort zone and alter our view of reality. But comfort and reality are simply states of mind, and the people of the New Age already know this. That is why so many people are now leaving the cruel island for a more holistic way of life. He sincerely look forward to meeting you on the mainland as together we co-create our New Worlds of Mind and Spirit. Thats all, thanks..

The article that I want to share here is 'True Friendship and Its Value in Life' by Michelle Tilden. This article told me about a true and real friendship. This relationship can be with anyone around us and usually we doesn't realize that he or she is our true friend.

The friendship that we form begin at very young age and at all ages we keep on accumulating friends but as we grow older we also start to lose friends, some simply because of lack of time, some over little issues and some friendships by the nature they are formed are transitory in nature too.

At all ages friends that were formed were either because of need at the young age or the coolness and style factor at the teens age.Come to the young adult age and we start forming friends who know where the limit is and when to stop intruding in our boundary. A little into more mature age like the thirty's and forty's we will form relationship with mature thinking and even have same desires as we have. This type of friendship may not be what we call as true friendship.

The true friendship is the friends who never expect nothing in return accept the the true friendship and will go to any lengths to protect the identity of the friendship. These true friendships will stand the test of time and we will know it, recognize it and then feel fortunate enough to have a single true friend in our life.

Its really give me the real figure about the true friendship. And I hope I'll be the one of a true friend to someone.

When searching for a article about humanity, I found a article titled ‘Humanity in Technology’. In this article, the writer notes that by weaving vivid imagery and historical fact, Adam Goodheart conveys his understanding of the humanity-technology paradox with his poignant essay "9.11.01: The Skyscraper and the Airplane." The writer points out that Goodheart describes the September 11th attacks and their aftermath as a catalyst of American cultural awareness. The writer discusses that by using the sterile and technological skyscraper and airplane to represent the passion of humanity. Goodheart suggests that humanity and technology cannot only coexist, but thrive together. By first establishing the skyscraper as a technological marvel, and then personifying it as a symbol of humanity, Goodheart suggests that technology and humanity are essentially complementary.

The article that i read yesterday is 'Refuges Are Us' that written by Tony Balis.

In his article, he said that most refugees need help from us but we didn't try help but ignore them. Why this situation is happen? He said most us didn't has sympathy feeling towards them because them is different from us in terms race, religious and culture. But we didn't thinks that refugees is same with us because refugees is human that has same blood and muscle, hope and family.

In the end, he said why we can do anything to help theirs now ? Aren't we denying, even sacrifing, our own humanity by not rescuing theirs?

Assalamualaikum and good day to Miss Leana.

The article that I has read is same as Chin has read, Science And Humanity In The 21 st Century by Sir Joseph Rotblat. The article is about implementation of humanity in the growth of science knowledge. Science law is something that fixed, not influenced by human emotion. But human emotion always monopolized science either for good or bad reason. This happen because the rapid development of science and technology did not balance with the development of social science. This result in usage of science knowledge for destruction, and even worse when the government try to control science for their benefit. In this new modern world, human live depend on science. when science is being polluted with inhumanity action, human being also in a grave danger.

So as a future engineer that part of technologist, I like to remind my friend and myself to develop our self with enough moral and humanism before entering real engineering world.

The article that i had read about humanity are article of love and happiness. This article actually written by Amitava Basu.In this article,it stated that happiness is satisfaction of mind. However, different individual have different perception of how to achieve the happiness.Commonly, happiness is measured by achievement in term of money, property, power, name and so on.Here we can see how the humanity value.
Life is not permanent, nothing in life can last forever.Saints and sages have realised this truth and lived away from persuit of mundane objects and worldliness. But ordinary people fail to see this the truth of life.
I'm very enjoyed with this article because it learn me what is love and what is happiness truely...

Again, based on the article that I have read form Tuesdays with Morrie, I feel that the topic that suits us most is emotions. Everybody has emotions in regardless of if it’s positive or if it’s negative.

What do we do when we face these emotions? Do we let the emotion controls us or do we control these emotions instead? Or do we just cling on to these emotions and see where they bring us to? NO!! We must learn how to dethatch from it. Nothing in this world is permanent and certainly, there is no special case for emotions.

We take emotions like grief or saddened over something. We must be able to tell ourselves that, I’ve experienced this emotion. I’ve noted the feeling and now it’s time for me to let go. There are a whole lot more of emotions that awaits me. Well, it’s always easy to say rather than to put it into practice, but again, an emotion doesn’t stay with us for long and we must be able to dethatch from it.

Humanity is very important to our live. Without humanity we cannot live in peaceful world. Many crime and war will occur because of no humanity in their life.Nowdays, people does't know about humanity well. They become arrogant and greedy without care about another people. They only know about their life and not ry to helping other people.

Hem...i have read an article helpfulness-when will people help??
The circumstances that inhibit or enhance helpfulness include a number of bystanders. Victims are less likely to get help when many people are around them. Helping when someone else does also a factor.People are more likely to help others if they have just observed someone else modeling that specific helping behavior.
In addition, time pressure also can make other people to give some help.People leisurely on their way to an unimportant appointment usually stopped to help, but those late for an important date seldom stopped.People also more empathetic and helpful toward those similar to them. This is a not good. As a human that have a humnity, they must ignore all this factors. It is more important to help peolpe than think about another things. This will make other people to respect u.So,we must have this characteristic to life in peaceful world.

The article that I had read was "Regarding Humanity" by Jon Faulkner. The human race will live under the threat of extinction as long as it fails to recognize its failure in caring for one another. Humanity, if it expects to survive, must devote every resource in bringing light into the lives of the children of the world. Humanity could find itself across borders of race and nationality if its concerted effort were directed to the basic fundamental that if one human life is neglected the diminishment of all life must follow.

In my opinion, the Happy Human is the official symbol of IHEU as well as being regarded the official symbol of Humanism.
Though the dominant forms of humanism are atheistic which express a disbelief in the supernatural. What humanism clearly rejects is blind deference to supernatural beliefs in resolving human affairs, not necessarily the beliefs themselves.
The trial made the contradictions between humanism and traditional religion visibly apparent to all, and humanism was branded a "dangerous doctrine".
Secular humanism is the branch of humanism that rejects theistic religious belief and, therefore, the existence of a supernatural. More often than not, secular humanism is what people are referring to when they speak of humanism in general, making it something of a default. Some secular humanists take this even further by denying that religious humanists qualify as genuine humanists. A number of religious humanists feel that secular humanism is too coldly logical and rejects the full emotional experience that makes us human.

The article that I read is entitled "Pity those who eat these foods". This article is about the poverty and related to the food crisis for people in Haiti. This article really can touch the reader feeling. The meaning of ‘these foods’ from the title is actually the mud biscuits which made by Haiti people to be sell, besides to reduces their hunger. Haiti is one of the poorest countries in the world.
For your information, the mud biscuits are made from clay, salt, vegetable oil or margarine. Haiti people call it "the special thunder"; price 5 cents, the local merchant transports with a truck one kind of unique soil from the middle mountainous area to each market place. After the women purchase the soil, they process the soil to make the biscuits at the neighbor’s workshop. They bring the barrel of soil to the roof top, picking out the stones and the lumps, and then the soil is mixed with salt and oil. Afterwards, they pinch the soil into a small cake shape under the hot sun. The processed biscuit is brought to the market for selling.
So from this process, those poor people can eat meals because of it lowest prices. The entire poor person there are ate those food including pregnant woman, old folks and also kids. This reality is really touching my feeling. Can we imagine, so many foods are wasted in America, Japan, Europe and other affluent countries, may be there are enough to feed these hungry souls who could barely eat one square meal a day?
So, to all my friends please thinks first before you decide to throw something! Fill the world with love. Thank You.

Salam.. Last Friday night, i watch a full version of Japanese Drama entitle "1 Litre of Tears". A drama that consist of so much humanity value in it.

Based on the true story, it is about a 15 years old girl named Aya who was diagnosed with a disease called "Spinocerebellar Degeneration". Then the doctor asked her to kept on writing in her diary to remember her experiences until she could no longer hold a pen. Aya simply wished to live until the end of her life, and the purpose of writing in the diary was to remind herself to not give up. She shed tears many times, at the same time encompassed by the rich love and support from her family, friends, and boyfriend.

This story teach me so much on human sense. Few times I cried watching few scene that realized me so much on the bravery, patience, and strong to keep on living and treasuring every moment at the same time fighting with the disease and people's around that keep on talking of her. Aya's mother bring out a great character. She surfing, reading about the disease, and searching the best doctor to help her daughter. She keep on by Aya's side till the end of Aya's life. Her determination and love touching me and remind me a lot that in this world, there is still people who love and appreciate other when other people try to run away and keep on talking bad things of her.

I realized that my life is not that tough compared to those who are suffering from an incurable disease. After watch this drama, I think it is not because Aya was upset because of her disease, I think she was touched by the love and patience she received from her friends and family. I was amazed by the braveness with which she chose to live her life, as a strong girl who was only 15 years old, yet managed to face her cruel fate with a positive outlook, and tried her best to do whatever she could by herself.I can feel the power of the love from her family and friends in this story, and encouraged me to be positive in my life even though there may be many difficulties and problems.

After watch this drama, i write few things into my journal. For me, the story is not just end at this. Many lesson I got from this. If i have chances, I will try to get the book written by Aya as my friend said it can be get at a big book store like Popular.

End of this story, I got a great message, "Just being alive is such a lovely and wonderful things".

one of the article that i had read about humanity was 'stops animals hunting' writtten by markis gardner..

this article describes that the unnecessary hunting of animals is harmful to the environment from which they come.can we imagine if one of the animals becomes extincts, of course it will destruct thefood chain in our life.the more animals that become extincts, the worse the worlds situation will become.the hunter only think about their own benefits without taking care of the wildlife. they cut the elephant ivory, tiger teeth, bears paw and most of the animals fur.

for me, this article is one or the great article because the writer keep on questioning about the humanity among the people.he wrote that animals are our future, so if we kill all the cuddly and different creatures we will live in a very boring world.

hence, bring out our humanity by stop doing it.animals always help us , but we do nothing and hurt them. hunting animals must be abonding, if not,we will be punished by the earth..=)

Hmmm.. humanity.. i really have no point to talk about it..so this is the question: how to promote humanity?
Well, after i search the web and i found an article. It briefly states that one should treat men with
dignity, allow them to express their gentle side or just allow them
to be very good instead of expecting them to be compulsorily very bad
and blaming them for being bad later; this will not only help men but
will help women also to a greater extent and thus would result in a
harmonius, peaceful and happy society.

I don't know whether the way stated above can promote humanity effectively. But we, as human beings, like to live in a peaceful and harmony society. Hence, treat other people as the way you would like other people treat you..
We shoulde heal the world and make it a better place to live by promote humanity..

Love between parent and children forms the basis for any upbringing which goes a long way in deciding the emotional quotient of an individual.Second,Love between siblings which is something special that brings light in one’s life.
Furthermore,Love between life partners is all about sharing and caring each emotion each responsibility whatever small it may be. It all about loving each other unconditionally, embarking on a journey of life, weathering the storms of life and enjoying the good times together and Love between friends is something special.Lastly is the pet love which people get numerous facets to it...
For me, love is the foundation of the theme of humanity which gives our life more happiness..

today i would like to share about my humanity element which is donation. What do we understandts the terms of donation, donation means gifts given without return consideration. This lack of return consideration means that, in common law, an agreement to make a donation is an "imperfect contract void for want of consideration.on the contrary, donations are valid contracts, though they may require some extra formalities, such as being done in writing. If we are the person or institution giving a gift is called the donor, and the person or institution getting the gift is called the donee. the article then show me the meaning of donating in the name of the others, now i know It is possible to donate in the name of a third party, making a gift in honor or in memory of someone or something. Gifts in honor or memory of a third party are made for various reasons, such as holiday gifts, wedding gifts, in memory of somebody who has died, in memory of pets or in the name of groups or associations no longer existing. Memorial gifts are sometimes requested by the survivors (e.g. "in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to ABC Charity"), usually directing donations to a charitable organization for which the deceased was a donor or volunteer, or for a cause befitting the deceased's priorities in life or manner of death. This article also show another type of donation, memorial donations are also sometimes given by people if they cannot go to the ceremonies. I hope this valuable humanity element we can smarted it on ourselves, so that we can help the others that need a helping.

I had read an article on crimes against humanity. Crimes against humanity can be defined as articularly odious offences in that they constitute a serious attack on human dignity or grave humiliation or a degradation of one or more human beings. The article gives examples of crime against humanity from the Nuremberg and Tokyo trials. It has also talked about how the United Nations Security Council responsibilities to protect populations from genocide, war crimes, ethnic cleansing and crimes against humanity. It has also said that the International Criminal Court and the European Council to have jurisdiction over the crimes against humanity. These kind of crimes is sad thing to hear as they seem to happen until nowadays. It's a good thing to see that actions are being taken by those who are responsible.

The recent article that i had read is "Humanity failed in Sri Lanka".
Sri Lanka is a country where abductions, disappearances, killings and general human rights violations happen with impunity. Law and order is applied selectively. Racists are promoted to higher ranks and government allegedly colludes with armed paramilitary in abductions and disappearances. What we can see is this things not only happened in Sri Lanka, but also facing in this world now. What are we going to tell our own kids?
Kids also learn things from what is happening around us. They are now convinced, if a sovereign government involve in the following atrocities on their own civil ans, it would be some what justified by the world at large.
- killing people,
- bombs hospitals,
- kills children
- make children orphans
- bomb hospitals
When they grow up with these memories, they may justify the acts of terrorism on the same account. This will be the great danger we would see in the coming years.
Unbridled nationalism leads to war. And lots of shitty things happen in war. This is a common-sense fact, conveniently forgotten by many human beings for most of the time. The case for humanity is remembered only when they are on the losing side. We don't need united nations, what we need is a united humanity.
