Why football is an interesting sports?

We always know that football is the world's sport. Among all the sports that we know, football is played in every country all around the world.Football is played in following of rules known as the Laws of the Game. The game is played using a single spherical ball. Two teams of eleven players each compete to get the ball into the other team's goal, thereby scoring a goal. The team that has scored more goals at the end of the game is the winner; if both teams have scored an equal number of goals then the game is a draw. The primary rule is that players; other than goalkeepers, they may not deliberately handle the ball with their hands or arms during play but only though they do use their hands during a throw-in restart. Although players usually use their feet to move the ball around, they may use any part of their bodies other than their hands or arms. Within normal play, all players are free to play the ball in any direction and move throughout the pitch, though the ball cannot be received in an offside position. In typical game play, players attempt to create goal scoring opportunities through individual control of the ball, such as by dribbling, passing the ball to a team-mate, and by taking shots at the goal, which is guarded by the opposing goalkeeper. The opponent may try to regain control of the ball by intercepting a pass or through tackling the other side opponent in possession of the ball; however, physical contact between opponents is restricted. Football is generally a free-flowing game, with play stopping only when the ball has left the field of play or when play is stopped by the referee. After a stoppage, play recommences with a specified restart. The players include three main categories: strikers, or forwards, whose main task is to score goals; defenders, who specialize in preventing their opponents from scoring; and midfielders, who dispossess the opposition and keep possession of the ball in order to pass it to the forwards on their team. These positions are further subdivided according to the area of the field in which the player spends most time. For example, there are central defenders, and left and right midfielders. The ten outfield players may be arranged in any combination. The number of players in each position determines the style of the team's play; more forwards and fewer defenders creates a more aggressive and offensive-minded game, while the reverse creates a slower, more defensive style of play. While players typically spend most of the game in a specific position, there are few restrictions on player movement, and players can switch positions at any time. The layout of a team's players is known as formation. Defining the team's formation and tactics is usually the prerogative of the team's manager.

What we know about werewolf?

Werewolves, also known as lycanthropes, are mythological humans with the ability to shape shift into wolf-like creatures, either purposely, by being bitten by another werewolf, or after being placed under a curse. This transformation is often associated with the appearance of the full moon; the moon represent the time for the full transformation of one human to werewolf. Werewolves are often granted extra-human strength and senses, far beyond those of either wolves or men. The werewolf is generally held as a European character, although its lore spread through the world in later times. Shape-shifters, similar to werewolves, are common in tales from all over the world, most notably amongst the American Indians, though most of them involve animal forms other than wolves. Werewolves are a frequent subject of modern fictional books and films, although fictional werewolves have been attributed traits distinct from those of original folklore, most notably the vulnerability to silver bullets. Werewolves continue to endure in modern culture and fiction, with books, films and television shows cementing the werewolf's stance as a dominant figure in horror. What I learned from this article is some stories really creepy to be told but when it comes to the facts that revealed by time to time, I think we should know about it after all it’s only matter of ancient story that make us think it did existed somehow in the past life.

Healthy And Nutritious Benefits from Yogurt

Yogurt is made from milk. Cow’s milk, buffalo’s milk, sheep and goat’s milk, and soya milk can be used to make yogurt. Yogurt has all the essential source of proteins, vitamins and minerals. These help to create a proper balance for our body. High content of calcium also proves to be excellent for our digestive system. It helps it cooling down our system rather than burning it up with acidity problems. As the proteins are easily digested we can have this very easily which tends to do wonders to our body. It is been said that consuming at least 250 grams yogurt a day would help to improve our thiamine. This thiamine helps in maintaining our appetite as well as the continuous growth of our body. We can use yogurt in different forms which makes it more interesting and also very appetizing for many children and adults too. It also contains Vitamin B12 which is very good for our body. As yogurt contains live bacteria it proves to be very useful for our body providing all the necessary health benefits needed by us. It has been tested that people who have yogurt thrice a week can increase their life span than the one's who had it just once a week. Our immunity increases by having yogurt. It has a fine resistance to fight diseases. Eating yogurt helps with vaginal yeast infection. It also helps in weight loss which for many may be a very significant problem. Lactobacillus is a pro-biotic bacterium which helps in curing arthritis as well as preventing it.

Rugby- a rough game played by gentlemen
Rugby is an interesting sport to play. Just like soccer, rugby also had its own world cup matches. Rugby is a world class sport that been played all over the world. New Zealand, Argentina, Australia, England, Fiji, France, Ireland, Scotland, South Africa and Wales are some of the famous country team playing this game for the world cup rugby’s. But to play this game, there are some important law that we must understand first that had been set up in this game.
Distinctive features common to both rugby codes (league and union) include the prolate spheroid ball and the ban on passing the ball forward, so that players can gain ground only by running with the ball or by kicking it. As the sport of rugby league moved further away from its union counterpart, rule changes were implemented with the aim of making a faster-paced, more try-oriented game.
There are two games that having 13 and 15 players. Today, the main differences between the two games, besides league having teams of 13 players and union of 15, involve the tackle and its aftermath:
• Union players contest possession following the tackle: depending on the situation, either a ruck or a maul can occur. League players may not contest possession after making a tackle: play is continued with a play-the-ball
• In league, if the team in possession fails to score before a set of six tackles, it surrenders possession. Union has no six-tackle rule; a team can keep the ball for an unlimited number of tackles before scoring as long as it maintains possession and does not commit an offence.
Set pieces of the union code include the scrum, where packs of opposing players push against each other for possession, and the lineout, where parallel lines of players from each team, arranged perpendicular to the touch-line (the side line) attempt to catch the ball thrown from touch (the area behind the touch-line).
In the league code, the scrum still exists, but with greatly reduced importance. Set pieces are generally started from the play-the-ball situation. Many of the rugby league positions have similar names and requirements to rugby union positions but there are no flankers in rugby league.
By following this simple rule and practicing it, I’m sure that we can play this game well. It is not a dangerous game if we know the rules and learn the techniques correctly with the coach or with the rugby players. Let’s play rugby!

How To Effectively Fall Asleep

Sometime, when we want to go to sleep, it will take us some time to fall asleep. Although it suppose to bed time but we cannot sleep or not feeling sleepy. Here are some tips on how to fall asleep effectively.

1. Do not involve yourself with exhausting activities, like exercising, right before going to bed.
2. Steer clear of foods that are high in sugar like chocolate desserts and caffeinated drinks minutes before heading to sleep.
3. After working or studying, allow a couple of minutes of relaxation before you jump into bed.
4. Find suitable lighting for your room. Too much light can be distracting so you might want to turn it off for a restful sleep. On the other hand, some people can't sleep without the lights on. If this is the case, it would a good idea to have a study lamp on or anything that can be a source of dim lights.
5. Make sure that your room is noise-free by the time you hit the bed. Turn off all appliances, like TV or radio, which might keep you awake.
6. The temperature of the room is also of prime importance. If you have an air-conditioning unit in your room, make sure that you set it in your preferred temperature so you wouldn't have to wake up in the middle of the night to adjust the temperature because it's too warm or too cold.
7. Anxiety can also be a reason for sleeplessness. Try not to think of anything you should worry about before sleeping. If a soothing music can help you veer away from anxious thoughts, then you can turn the radio.
8. Your physical condition could also dictate your sleeping habits. If you are not feeling well, you would obviously have a hard time getting some needed sleep too. Always consult your doctor if you notice any symptoms of any kind of ailment or disease.

Anaconda

An anaconda is a large, non-venomous snake found in tropical South America. Although the name actually applies to a group of snakes, it is often used to refer only to one species in particular, the common or green anaconda, which is one of the largest snakes in the world. The average adult anaconda is about 18 to 20 feet long but the maximum length it can grow is about 23 feet long for female that longer than the male due to its hormone factor. The color pattern of green anaconda consists of olive green ground color overlaid with black blotches that run the length of the body. The head is narrow compared to the rest of the body, usually with distinctive orange-yellow striping on either side. The eyes are set high on the head and allow the snake to see out of the water when swimming without exposing its body. The primarily nocturnal anaconda species tend to spend most of its life in or around water. Anacondas are also sometimes known as the “Water Boa” and spend more time in water than any of the boas. Because of its size being typically large it appears to be rather slow and sluggish when traveling on land. Despite the opposite in water however, anacondas are known to have the potential to reach incredibly high speeds in all depths of water levels. One tends to float a top the surface of the water with its snout barely poking out above the surface. When prey simply passes by or stops to drink, the hungry anaconda will snatch it using its jaws and coils around it with its body. The snake will then constricts, tighten, and squeeze its coils until the anaconda has successfully suffocated its victim. Anacondas usually lie around in trees and attack their prey from above, and coiling around it, leaving it completely helpless and unaware of what has just happened. Prey is suffocated, but never "crushed." The anaconda merely tightens only enough to stop its victim's breathing. From the above article, anaconda is actually so beautiful creature in my opinion. But then, in my village, people used to think about it as a fresh meat to be eaten. Yes! Snake also is one of the long-house-people-food in Sarawak. In my opinion, this creature represents one part of the art of the jungle that can survive in human territories and should not extinct from this world.

We all see America as a truly powerful country as it has a large influence in the worlds economy and an army with high technology gadgets that is feared by the world. But if you really want to know the secret behind America's power, then "America The New Jerusalem" by Micheal Collins Piper is the right book for you. It reveals the fact that being the President of the United States of America is not the most powerful job in the world. This book also reveals the people who are pulling the strings behind America's government. I am sure most of us will be surprised by knowing the list of names that influence America's administration which all of them are Jewish. This controversial book is a good read for those who wants to know how America is not Really American now.
From reading this book, I found that America has lost its identity and being the President of America is just the same as being a puppet for the Jews. America is being controlled behind the scenes by the jews and I truly think that America has lost its independence years ago.

Are You Afraid Of The Dark? is book written by one of my favorite authors that is Sidney Sheldon. It is about two women from different roads of life who suffer the loss of their beloved husbands who dies through different tragic incidents. What they do not know is that their husbands worked for the same company and were killed to cover up a secret that their company wanted to kept secret. So these two women joined forces to reveal the truth behind their husbands death while looking out for their lives that are being hunted by the company. It was a truly page turning novel where Sidney Sheldon knows how to keep its readers on their feet with its suspense and action. It is a really good book and entertaining. I really enjoyed reading it!

Cigarettes
A cigarette (French "small cigar", from cigar + -ette) is a product consumed through smoking and manufactured out of cured and finely cut tobacco leaves and reconstituted tobacco, often combined with other additives, then rolled or stuffed into a paper-wrapped cylinder (generally less than 120 mm in length and 10 mm in diameter). The cigarette is ignited at one end and allowed to smoulder for the purpose of inhalation of its smoke from the other (usually filtered) end, which is inserted in the mouth. They are sometimes smoked with a cigarette holder. The term cigarette, as commonly used, refers to a tobacco cigarette but can apply to similar devices containing other herbs, such as cannabis.
Nicotine, the primary psychoactive chemical in tobacco, is addictive. Cigarette use by pregnant women has also been shown to cause birth defects (which include mental and physical disability). On average, each cigarette smoked shortens lifespan by 11 minutes and smokers who die of tobacco-related disease lose, on average, 14 years of life.
Rates of cigarette smoking vary widely. While rates of smoking have leveled off or declined in the developed world, they continue to rise in the undeveloped world.
A cigarette is distinguished from a cigar by its smaller size, use of processed leaf, and white paper wrapping. Cigars are typically composed entirely of whole-leaf tobacco.
Cigarettes are the most frequent source of fires in private homes and the European Union wishes to ban by 2011 cigarettes that are not fire-safe.
Commercially manufactured cigarettes are seemingly simple objects consisting mainly of a tobacco blend, paper, PVA glue to bond the outer layer of paper together, and often also a cellulose acetate–based filter. While the assembly of cigarettes is straightforward, much focus is given to the creation of each of the components, in particular the tobacco blend, which may contain over 100 ingredients, many of them flavourants for the tobacco. A key ingredient that makes cigarettes more addictive is the inclusion of reconstituted tobacco, which has additives to make nicotine more volatile as the cigarette burns.
Paper
Main article: Cigarette paper
The paper for holding the tobacco blend may vary in porosity to allow ventilation of the burning ember or contain materials that control the burning rate of the cigarette and stability of the produced ash. The papers used in tipping the cigarette (forming the mouthpiece) and surrounding the filter stabilise the mouthpiece from saliva and moderate the burning of the cigarette as well as the delivery of smoke with the presence of one or two rows of small laser-drilled air holes.[13]
According to Simon Chapman, a professor of public health at the University of Sydney, the burning agents in cigarette paper are responsible for fires and reducing them would be a simple and effective means of dramatically reducing the ignition propensity of cigarettes. Since 1980s Philipp Morris and RJ Reynolds developed fire-safe cigarettes but did not market them. Self-extinguising cigarettes are better value for smokers because a cigarette that burns down to the filter has to be replaced—whereas one that goes out on its own can always be relit.[original research?]
The burn rate of cigarette paper is regulated through the application of different forms of microcrystalline cellulose to the paper. Cigarette paper has been specially engineered by creating bands of different porosity to create "fire-safe" cigarettes. These cigarettes have a reduced idle burning speed which allows them to self-extinguish. This fire-safe paper is manufactured by mechanically altering the setting of the paper slurry.
New York was the first U.S. state to mandate that all cigarettes manufactured or sold within the state comply with a fire-safe standard. Canada has passed a similar nation-wide mandate based on the same standard. Many other U.S. states have passed or are considering fire-safe mandates.
European union wishes to ban in 2011 cigarettes that are not fire-safe. According to a study made by European Union in 16 European countries, 11000 fires were due to cigarettes between 2005 and 2007. They caused 520 deaths and 1600 people injured.
Tobacco blend

The tobacco end of a cigarette
The process of blending, like the blending of scotch and cognac, gives the end product a consistent taste from batches of tobacco grown in different areas of a country that may change in flavour profile from year to year due to different environmental conditions.
Modern cigarettes produced after the 1950s, although composed mainly of shredded tobacco leaf, use a significant quantity of tobacco processing by-products in the blend. Each cigarette's tobacco blend is made mainly from the leaves of flue-cured brightleaf, burley tobacco, and oriental tobacco. These leaves are selected, processed, and aged prior to blending and filling. The processing of brightleaf and burley tobaccos for tobacco leaf "strips" produces several by-products such as leaf stems, tobacco dust, and tobacco leaf pieces ("small laminate.”). To improve the economics of producing cigarettes, these by-products are processed separately into forms where they can then be possibly added back into the cigarette blend without an apparent or marked change in the cigarette's quality. The most common tobacco by-products include:
• Blended leaf (BL) sheet: a thin, dry sheet cast from a paste made with tobacco dust collected from tobacco stemming, finely milled burley-leaf stem, and pectin.
• Reconstituted leaf (RL) sheet: a paper-like material made from recycled tobacco fines, tobacco stems and "class tobacco", which consists of tobacco particles less than 30 mesh in size (~0.599 mm) that are collected at any stage of tobacco processing. RL is made by extracting the soluble chemicals in the tobacco by-products, processing the leftover tobacco fibres from the extraction into a paper, and then reapplying the extracted materials in concentrated form onto the paper in a fashion similar to what is done in paper sizing. At this stage ammonium additives are applied to make reconstituted tobacco an effective nicotine delivery system.[1]
• Expanded (ES) or improved stems (IS): ES are rolled, flattened, and shredded leaf stems that are expanded by being soaked in water and rapidly heated. Improved stems follow the same process but are simply steamed after shredding. Both products are then dried. These two products look similar in appearance but are different in taste.
Whole tobacco can also be processed into a product called expanded tobacco. The tobacco is "puffed", or expanded, by saturating it with supercritical carbon dioxide and heating the CO2 saturated tobacco to quickly evaporate the CO2. This quick change of physical state by the CO2 causes the tobacco to expand in a similar fashion as polystyrene foam. This is used to produce light cigarettes ("Lights") by reducing the density of the tobacco and thus maintain the size of a cigarette while reducing the amount of tobacco used in each cigarette.
A recipe-specified combination of brightleaf, burley-leaf and oriental-leaf tobacco will be mixed with humectants such as propylene glycol or glycerol, as well as flavouring products and enhancers such as cocoa, licorice, tobacco extracts, and various sugars, which are known collectively as "casings". The leaf tobacco will then be shredded, along with a specified amount of small laminate, expanded tobacco, BL, RL, ES and IS. A perfume-like flavour/fragrance, called the "topping" or "toppings", which is most often formulated by flavor companies, will then be blended into the tobacco mixture to improve the consistency in flavour and taste of the cigarettes associated with a certain brand name. As well, they replace lost flavours due to the repeated wetting and drying used in processing the tobacco. Finally the tobacco mixture will be filled into cigarettes tubes and packaged.
In recent years, the manufacturers' pursuit of maximum profits has led to the practice of using not just the leaves, but also recycled tobacco offal[ and the plant stem. The stem is first crushed and cut to resemble the leaf before being merged or blended into the cut leaf.

Safety boots

Steel-toe boots (also known as safety toe boots, steel-capped boots or safety shoe) are durable boots or shoes that have a protective reinforcement in the toe, usually combined with a sole plate, which protect the foot from falling objects and punctures from below. Traditionally made of steel, the reinforcement can also be made of a composite material, or a plastic such as thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU). Steel-toe boots are important in the construction industry and in many industrial settings. Occupational safety and health legislation or insurance requirements may require the use of such boots in some settings, and may mandate certification of such boots and the display of such certification directly on the boots. In Canada, certified boots have a Canadian Standards Association green triangle on them.
Safety footwear now comes in many styles, including sneakers and clogs. Some are quite formal, for supervising engineers who must visit sites where protective footwear is mandatory.
A myth about steel-toe boots is that the inserts actually create a more dangerous environment, because a significant weight could cause the steel to act like a blade, severing the toe instead of the weight simply crushing the foot. However, the weight needed to induce such a failure would result in such severe damage to the toe that amputation would be necessary anyway.[1].
Some brands of steel-toe footwear, particularly Dr. Martens and Grinders, have become fashionable within subcultures such as skinhead, punk, and rivethead.
Most safety shoes have symbols on the outside, to indicate the protection the shoe offers. Examples are:
• Green Triangle indicates that it is a class 1 toe cap with puncture resistant sole.
• Yellow Triangle indicates that it is a class 2 toe cap with puncture resistant sole.
• White Square (with ohm symbol) indicates electrical protection.
• Yellow Square(with SD) indicates anti-static protection.
• Red Square(with C) indicates electrically conductive.
• Fir Tree indicates protection against chain-saws.
Generally, a safety-shoe is a shoe that follows at least one of five criterion. You can determine which criteria your safety-shoes adhere to by looking for CSA's(Canada's Standard Association) alphanumerical code found inside the shoe. This code is made up of a combination of 5 different symbols: 1, 2 or 0 P or 0 M or 0 E, S or C X or 0
1. The first code indicates if the shoe has a steel-toe cap(a metal shell embedded on top of the toes part of the shoe). "0" means there is none. "1" means that there is, and it resists an impact of 125 joules(22.7 kg object falling from 56 cm above). "2" means that it resists an impact of 90 joules.
2. The second code indicates if the shoe has soles that protect the arches of the feet from punctures. "P" means it does. "O" means it doesn't.
3. The third code indicates if the shoe has a metatarsus protection against shocks and collisions. "M" means it does. "O" doesn't.
4. The fourth code indicates the shoe's electrical properties. "E" means it resists electrical shocks. "S" means it disperses static electrical. "C" means it conducts electricity.
5. This last code is found only on shoes that protect the foot from chainsaws. "X" it does, "O" does not.
Wear your safety boot on when you’re entering the FKM lab.

Laptop
A laptop computer is a personal computer designed for mobile use that is small enough to sit on your lap. A laptop integrates all of the typical components of a desktop computer, including a display, a keyboard, a pointing device (a touchpad, also known as a trackpad, or a pointing stick) and a battery into a single portable unit. The rechargeable battery is charged from an AC/DC adapter and has enough capacity to power the laptop for several hours.
A laptop is usually shaped like a large notebook with thickness of 0.7–1.5 inches (18–38 mm) and dimensions ranging from 10x8 inches (27x22cm, 13" display) to 15x11 inches (39x28cm, 17" display) and up. Modern laptops weigh 3 to 12 pounds (1.4 to 5.4 kg), and some older laptops were even heavier. Most laptops are designed in the flip form factor to protect the screen and the keyboard when closed.
Originally considered "a small niche market"and perceived as suitable for "specialized field applications" such as "the military, the Internal Revenue Service, accountants and sales representatives", battery-powered portables had just 2% worldwide market share in 1986. But today, there are already more laptops than desktops in the enterprise and, according to a forecast by Intel, more laptops than desktops will be sold in the general PC market as soon as 2009.
The general terms "laptop" or "notebook" can be used to refer to a number of classes of small portable computers:[11][12]
By purpose and (approximately) by screen size:
• Desktop replacement - emphasizes performance, is less portable, 15" and larger screen;
• Standard laptop - balances portability and features, 13-15" screen;
• Subnotebook - emphasizes portability, has less features, 13" or smaller screen.
By features:
• Budget - a cheap, lower-performance standard-sized laptop;
• Tablet PC - Has a touch-screen interface, may or may not have a keyboard;
• Netbook - A cheaper, smaller version of a subnotebook designed mainly for Internet surfing and basic office applications.
• Rugged - Engineered to operate in tough conditions (strong vibrations, extreme temperatures, wet and dusty environments).

Detailing your car engine not only adds to the look of your overall car, but also helps the different components of your engine continue functioning properly. This helps extend the life of the engine, saving you money in the long run.
I have a car and I always wondering whether my car engine is in good condition or not. I always check my engine but the main problem is I don`t know what to check about my engine. So I have read a article to solve my problem. The title of this article is How to Care for a Car Engine and written by eHow Cars Editor. There are four steps for you to care a good care of you car engine.
1. Look under the hood of the vehicle before washing the exterior of the car to find areas where grease, dirt and other gunk build up on the different components of the engine. You may also notice a bad smell when you are either inside or under the hood of the car.
2. Gather the products you will need to detail the engine. This should include an engine degreaser, hose or pressurized water source, a rag and some chrome polish or wax. Take the time and spend the money to get good quality products from your local auto parts store. The products used at car washes are often on the lower end of the quality scale.
3. Spray degreaser all over the engine, allowing it to sit for a few moments. Use a hose or other pressurized water source and spray off the entire engine, removing the degreaser and with it the grease, dirt and other build up. Make sure to climb in and get the hard-to-reach areas as well. Consider climbing under the vehicle to spray out the underside of the engine.
4. Use a rag to wipe of any engine parts that are chrome or after-market metals and materials. Dry them thoroughly, as chrome spots easily from the water. Use a soft cloth to apply polish or wax to the chrome parts, then use a different cloth to wipe off the polish or wax before it dries completely.
This steps realy helps for me to take a very good care of my car engine. I hope that you can practice all this steps everyday so that your car engine is in good condition.

Do you know it is popular in Japan today to drink water immediately after waking up every morning? Scientific tests have proven a its value. We publish below a description of use of water for our readers. For old and serious diseases as well as modern illnesses the water treatment had been found successful by a Japanese med ical society as a 100% cure for the following diseases:

Headache, body ache, heart system, arthritis, fast heart beat, epilepsy, excess fatness, bronchitis asthma, TB, meningitis, kidney and urine diseases, vomiting, ga str itis, diarrhea, piles, diabetes, constipation, all eye diseases, womb, cancer and men str ual diso rd ers, ear nose and throat diseases.

METHOD OF TREATMENT

1. As you wake up in the morning before brushing teeth, drink 4 x 160ml glasses of water .....interesting
2. Brush and clean the mouth but do not eat or drink anything for 45 minutes
3. After 45 minutes you may eat and drink as normal.
4. After 15 minutes of breakfast, lunch and dinner do not eat or drink anything for 2 hours
5. Those who are old or sick and are unable to drink 4 glasses of water at the beginning may commence by taking little water and gradually increase it to 4 glasses per day.
6. The above method of treatment will cure diseases of the sick and others can enjoy a healthy life.

The following list gives the number of days of treatment required to cure/control/reduce main diseases:

1. High Blood Pressure - 30 days
2. Ga str ic - 10 days
3. Diabetes - 30 days
4. Constipation - 10 days
5. Cancer - 180 days
6. TB - 90 days
7. Arthritis patients should follow the above treatment only for 3 days in the 1st week, and from 2nd week onwa rd s - daily.

This treatment method has no side effects, however at the commencement of treatment you may have to urinate a few times.

It is better if we continue this and make this procedure as a routine work in our life.

Drink Water and Stay healthy and Active.

This makes sense .. The Chinese and Japanese drink hot tea with their meals ..not cold water. Maybe it is time we adopt their drinking habit while eating!!! Nothing to lose, everything to gain...

For those who like to drink cold water, this article is applicable to you.

It is nice to have a cup of cold drink after a meal. However, the cold water will solidify the oily stuff that you have just consumed . It will slow down the digestion.

Once this 'sludge' reacts with the acid, it will break down and be absorbed by the intestine faster than the solid food. It will line the intestine. Very soon, this will turn into fats and lead to cancer. It is best to drink hot soup or warm water after a meal.

A serious note about heart attacks: Women should know that not every heart attack symptom is going to be the left arm hurting.

Be aware of intense pain in the jaw line.

You may never have the first chest pain during the course of a heart attack.

Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown was the book that got me interested in reading novels. It is about a priest who leaves her granddaughter a message before he was murdered by a killer who was after a secret about the location of the Holy Grail that the priest was keeping. The messages were all encrypted in codes that only those who are really good can read. The granddaughter named Sophie tries to uncover the message from her grandfather by traveling all around the world looking for answers with the help of a University professor that is an expert in encrypted codes and ancient languages. What was interesting about this book are the codes which are in the form of puzzles and riddles that are really mind blowing. The ending of the story was unexpected and interesting. This book has also been made into a motion picture but is not as interesting as the book because it does not cover the whole book. this book also caused a controversial stir among Christians and the Church because it goes their beliefs. But excluding that, is was and interesting read and worth reading.

Ever since he was little, Luffy has been inspired by "Red Haired" Shanks, the captain of a group of pirates that once visited his childhood town. Shanks' free-spirited way of life greatly influenced Luffy to become a pirate himself. However, Luffy's life changed forever when he accidentally found and ate the Gomu Gomu Fruit, which was a treasure that Shanks and his crew discovered. The Fruit turned Luffy's entire body to rubber, allowing him to stretch incredible lengths and repel most any kind of attack. But like the rest of the mysterious "Devil's" Fruits, it took away his ability to swim. That same day a gang of bandits came to town and, when they made fun of Shanks at the local bar, Luffy became enraged and tried to pick a fight with them. But the bandits got the upper hand and tossed Luffy into the ocean. Not being able to swim, Luffy was about to fall prey to a huge sea monster until Shanks rescued him…but the monster had managed to bite off Shanks' left arm! After that act of self-sacrifice, Luffy became more determined than ever to follow in Shanks' footsteps. Before his crew left the town, Shanks gave Luffy his prized straw hat and told him to return it once he became a great pirate. Ever since then, Luffy's been gathering a crew and sailing through the treacherous waterway known as the Grand Line in order to become "King of the Pirates" and to find the previous King, Gold Roger's, legendary treasure One Piece.

Despite his superhuman strength as a "rubber man" and the huge pirate bounty on his head, Luffy's real personality couldn't be more contrasting. He's carefree, fun-loving, easily impressed, always cheerfully seeking out adventure, and he eats like there's no tomorrow. Although his utterly oblivious and naive nature sometimes irritates the rest of his crew, his optimism, reliable intuition, and fierce dedication has helped pull them through the many dangerous adventures that they face. He'll do anything to protect his crewmates and to fulfill his dream of reaching the Grand Line and becoming "King of the Pirates." Despite being a total airhead most of the time, Luffy won't put up with injustice of any kind. Oppression and cruelty are about the only things that can get him angry(or if someone steals his food ^^,,,)

Towels
Towels are not only use after bath.Towels are often used for purposes other than drying things. For example
• To sit, lie and stand on, to avoid direct contact with the ground, sand, rock, chair, etc. This may be for hygiene and comfort, and in saunas or other places where nudity is common.
• Barbers use steamed towels to prepare the skin for shaving.
• To reserve seats, for example sunloungers, by the side of swimming pools or similar locations (a source of annoyance to some and amusement to others).
• A towel can act as a make-shift garment or blanket. There is a variety of uses when a towel is applied in this manner. For example, the towel can be used as an extra layer of clothing for cold conditions; or can be worn on its own around the waist (similarly to a kilt or skirt) or just under the shoulders (similarly to a long dress), usually in a warm environment.
• In Asian countries, towels (smaller in size than hand towels - usually 30 cm square) are used as handkerchiefs. Men and women both carry them. The softness of the Turkish-type towel makes it a favourite for use.
• In some cases, a towel can be used to protect its owner (as well as other people). For example, a damp towel can be used to block the gap between the door and floor to help stop noxious gases or smoke from entering the room. This is especially useful in case of a fire, where, in most cases, people die of smoke inhalation before the fire reaches them.
• On cruise ships, towel animals are created for the patrons.
• Towels can also be used like a whip in what is known as towel snapping.
• To hold hot objects, much like an oven glove.
• Towels may also be used as a head dress for wet hair.
• Towels can be used as a "sling" for a broken arm.
• Towels are often used for "ice blocking."
• In boxing or other combat sports, a fighter's cornerman could throw a towel into the ring to concede the fighter's defeat in that match. This is called "throwing in the towel."
• At sporting events, sometimes towels are handed out to fans to wave around to cheer on their team.
• A slang term used to describe a douche bag.

Harry Potter: the 6th book

Harry Potter 6th book, Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince is the most dull book of thhe series.Ther was no excitement while reading it, unlike the previous books-which I've read-they are full of the 'x' factor that keep readers glued to the chair, finishing every last sentence and word written. The story overall is about finding the identity of the half blood prince, who is he? is the prince really is 'he' or the prince is actually 'she', or the prince really exist? There was no advanture at all. This 6th book is for those who like to think, and I don't like to think. So, for the conclusion, Idont like this book.

all about PRADA....

Prada. The name alone signifies style and luxury, designer handbags and fabulous shoes. Born nearly a century ago, The House of Prada is recognized worldwide for its simple and elegant creations.
Mario Prada started the Prada label in 1913. He designed and sold handbags, shoes, trunks, and suitcases though two boutiques in Milan, and had clients across Europe and the US. When the signature Prada suitcases, made from heavy, cumbersome walrus skin, proved to be ill suited for air travel, Prada concentrated on designing exquisite leather accessories and waterproof handbags.
In 1978, Mario's granddaughter, Miuccia Prada, took over the company. Miuccia was a former mime who had spent five years studying at Milan's Teatro Piccolo, and had a PhD in political science. Although her qualifications didn't seem appropriate, her sense of fashion was unmistakable. The label was still mainly a leather goods manufacturer at that point, and had been struggling financially for several years. Competition from other fashion houses like Gucci had taken its toll. Miuccia turned things around and steered the House of Prada towards the world of haute couture. About the same time as she took the helm of the Prada label, Miuccia married Patrizio Bertelli. Bertelli took on the role of business manager, allowing Miuccia to focus on designing and perfecting the new Prada look.
Miuccia had been making black waterproof backpacks since 1970, out of a nylon fabric called Pocone. She unveiled the classic Prada handbag - simple, sleek, black nylon in 1985 and became an overnight sensation. The bag was functional and sturdy, practical and fashionable. The high price tag that accompanied the handbags caused an onslaught of designer knock-offs, which only helped to make the genuine Prada articles more in demand. In the 1980's, other labels were creating designs that played on sexuality. Frilly, lacy, brightly colored garments that were low cut on top and short on the bottom were popular. Prada hit the runway in 1989 with its brilliant collection, with elegant, simple pieces featuring clean lines, luxurious fabrics, and basic colors. The fashion world took notice, and Prada's popularity skyrocketed.
By the 1990's, Prada was a leading force in fashion. The garments and accessories were smart, sophisticated, and extremely high quality. Luxurious fabrics and simple styles, mostly in blacks, browns, grays, greens, and creams, became the signature Prada look. The apparel was sexy and spoke of confidence without revealing too much skin. Accessories included skinny leather belts, elegant high heeled shoes, and of course, the classic handbag.

Since then, Prada has gone on to open boutiques in dozens of cities and countries across the globe. Their shoes for men and women have become a staple for fashion enthusiasts and celebrities alike, and those extraordinary handbags are still wildly popular. The distinct silver Prada triangle is a status symbol all over Europe,North America and Asia.

Three Great Reasons to Quit Smoking

Do you want to quit smoking but every time you try you failed? Don’t have enough motivation to quit smoking? Here are some reasons that you should think about that may boost your motivation to quit smoking.

Reason #1 – Your Health
If you smoke, you are:
12 times more likely to die from lung cancer
10 times more likely to die of cancer of the mouth, throat, and esophagus
10 times more likely to die from cancer of the larynx

Reason #2 – Saving the Money You Spend on Cigarettes
Let say the average cost of a pack of cigarettes today is around RM4.50.
One pack per day RM4.50 = RM31.50 per week
RM31.50 per week x 52 weeks = RM1638.00 per year

Reason #3 – Damage to Car & House
Cigarette smoke stinks; it clings to everything; it’s hard to remove. This has a huge impact and does damage to your house and car that costs you money. You might have smoking when you are driving. By doing this, the smell of the cigarette will stick at your car seat and the inside of the car. When you want to change the cushion, it will cost you money.

Assalamualaikum
This month, I already finish read a book that so interesting. The title is AWAY by Amy Bloom.
This novel tell about love...
AWAY is set in the rowdy world of America of the 1920's. Its protagonist, Lillian Leyb, is a young Jewish woman from Lithuania whose husband and parents have been slaughtered in a savage pogrom, the memory of which haunts her dreams. With Lillian's aid, her three-year-old daughter Sophie escapes execution. But when an aunt reports she has seen Sophie's body floating in the river, Lillian decides to abandon her village for life with a cousin in the crowded Jewish tenements of the Lower East Side of Manhattan.

Shortly after her arrival, Lillian finds a job as a seamstress in the prominent Yiddish theater run by Reuben Burstein and featuring his actor-son, Meyer. Soon, the Bursteins are competing for Lillian's affections in an odd sexual triangle while they help educate her about life in America.

But the new world into which Lillian has begun to settle is upended when her cousin Raisele arrives in the United States, claiming that Sophie was not killed in the pogrom, but instead has been adopted by another family from the village and spirited away to a nascent Jewish community in Siberia. Armed with this information and the faint glimmer of hope it inspires, Lillian is determined to return to Russia to find her daughter. In the words of a Yiddish proverb that serves as one of the novel's leitmotifs: Az me muz, ken men...

Lillian decides to book passage on ship that will take her to Odessa, leaving a perilous 3,000-mile trek to Siberia where any possibility of finding Sophie is slim at best.

The final two-thirds of the novel traces Lillian's harrowing and heroic journey to find Sophie. She travels by train from New York to Chicago and then on to Seattle, spending most of the trip in a dark and fetid broom closet. When she reaches the West Coast she is rescued from a beating by a prostitute named Gumdrop Brown, who eventually enlists Lillian in a scheme to exact revenge on Gumdrop's pimp, who has been skimming moneys owed her. That plan ends in catastrophe and Lillian flees to Canada, encountering Christian missionaries and spending time in a women's correctional institution along the way. When she's released she trudges on her solitary path through the wilderness of northern British Columbia, following a trail of abandoned telegraph stations, into the Yukon Territory, where she finds one man willing to join in her passionate journey.

It's apparent that in writing AWAY, Bloom has immersed herself in vivid accounts of American life in the 1920s. The worlds of Chicago street toughs, Seattle prostitutes and radio operators in the Canadian wilderness are portrayed with a kind of grim lyricism. Bloom does not linger over the stark and sometimes terrible scenes she paints, and yet all are depicted in rich and sensuous detail.

In a recent interview, Bloom observed that being a mother has influenced the themes she writes about. That influence is profoundly evident in AWAY. It's difficult to bring to mind a recent novel in which the motivating power of a mother's love has been so deeply or affectingly portrayed.

Well, there's no point in speaking about fuel costs at the pump. We're all faced with it and need to learn the best tricks and tips to save as much as possible along with helping to protect the environment. Although the fuel price in our country now is low, this does not mean that we must not take a precaution about saving our fuel. Maybe after this, the fuel price will rise again and we must take action from now. There are 4 steps for you to save your fuel.
1. If you're buying a new car, it's an obvious no brainer that a large SUV vs. a fuel efficient sports car is going to be less costly at the pump. Knowing how many miles per gallon you can get will save you a lot of cash. The difference between a car that gets 20 miles per gallon vs. one that gets 30 can save you $550 a year. ($2,200 in four years) That might make for a decent vacation. I'm sure you deserve one. Keep in mind similar compact cars can still have a wide range from 21 mpg to 48 mpg. Of course you want the highest number.
2. Ok, so you have a small Toyota, or you're already stuck with a larger full size model/SUV, here are some additional ways to save everyday. Clean out your trunk! Don't carry around those golf clubs, or stroller. (I used to keep my real estate yard signs in my trunk) Store it in the garage. Removing excess weight from your vehicle can improve your gas mileage. In fact, carrying around an extra 100 lbs. of weight can cost you an additional 2 cents per gallon.
Replace clogged air filters. This can save you approx. 10%. Your car's air filter keeps impurities from damaging the inside of your engine. Not only will replacing a dirty air filter save gas, it will protect your engine. This is especially true if you drive in the city.
3. SLOW DOWN! Try to pay attention to the speed you pick up while approaching a red light. We don't often consider it while on the phone, or day dreaming. The majority of drivers actually drive to the red light keeping up with the flow of traffic. (When it's red, roll) Why have a race to the light? The same applies in bumper to bumper traffic and a line at a stop sign. It's actually amazing how many people press on the gas pedal to move a few feet in traffic. It's hard to remember this, because we're set on auto pilot. I call this getting "Nowhere fast." The less contact with that pedal the better. It all adds up.
4. Don't forget to keep your tires inflated to the right pressure. Under- inflated tires can lower your gas mileage.
Find a buddy. Not only can driving to work be a hassle, but it can be lonely too. So why not pair up with a fellow commuter and share the cost? A 40 mile total daily commute costs about $2,600 per year. Ridesharing with one other person can save you $1,300. Double the figure for an 80 mile total daily commute. It's something to think about even just a few days a week.
I hope that this steps will help you.

Kidnap victim found killed

PORT DICKSON: A 20-year-old student, kidnapped from his home in Bukit Rimau on Jan 25, was found brutally murdered at an oil palm plantation in Sua Betong along the Port Dickson-Pasir Panjang road near here yesterday.

Plantation workers stumbled on the gruesome find at around 7am as they were about to start work.

State police chief SAC I Datuk Os man Salleh said the victim’s remains were identified by his father at the hospital mortuary in the afternoon.

“The victim’s neck was almost severed and he also had slash wounds on his face and shoulder.

“We had difficulties identifying him earlier as he did not have any documents on him,” he said.
The victim was a student at a private college near his home.

SAC Osman said Selangor police had earlier identified a suspect involved in the kidnapping.

“I was told that the suspect was related to the victim,” he said, adding that police had yet to establish if the suspect was also involved in the victim’s death.

The victim, who was the only son in the family, had two younger sisters.

It is learnt that the suspect had called the victim’s father a day after his disappearance and demanded a RM100,000 ransom.

However, the father pleaded with the suspect to reduce the sum because he could not raise the amount being a taxi driver.

After negotiations, the suspect agreed to reduce the ransom to RM15,000.

All calls were made from a fixed line telephone.

On Friday, the victim’s father was told to board a train from Kuala Lumpur and alight at the Seremban station.

However, as the train pulled into the Seremban station, the suspect telephoned the father and told him not to get off.

He was told to remain in the trainfor further instructions.

When the train was passing through Rahang New Village near Senawang, the suspect telephoned the father and told him to throw the bag of money out of the window.
The father did as he was told.

The victim, however, was never released. The father also stopped receiving calls from the suspect after the ransom was paid.

Police are working on the theory that the victim was murdered as he knew the identity of his kidnapper.

Police have classified the case as kidnap-cum-murder.

‘Missing’ PKR reps cry foul
IPOH: Undated resignation letters signed by PKR candidates after last year’s March 8 elections were believed to have been sent by PKR to the state speaker to announce the resignation of two of its assemblymen.

Letters from Jamaluddin Mat Radzi (Behrang) and Mohd Osman Mohd Jailu (Changkat Jering) were sent to speaker V. Sivakumar at about 5.45pm yesterday.

A few hours later, Jamaluddin and Mohd Osman denied sending the letters and vacating their seats.
Jamaluddin said the resignation letter that was supposedly sent was actually an old undated “resignation letter” that he and the other six assemblymen from PKR were forced to sign in late March.

Sivakumar said the letters were sent to him at his house.

“Both Mohd Osman and Jamaluddin resigned as state assemblymen with immediate effect. I have accepted their resignation based on Article XXXV of the state constitution.

“As the state speaker, I will announce the two state seats N14 Changkat Jering and N59 of Behrang vacant as soon as possible,” he said.

Sivakumar said he would also be getting in touch with the Election Commission today to inform it about the latest development.

This, he said, was to enable the commission to make arrangements for by-elections to be held within 60 days as required under the state constitution.

Jamaluddin added, “I am still the state assemblyman for Behrang. I have not resigned. I will challenge the validity of the ‘old’ letter as it was signed under duress.”

Jamaluddin said he was discussing with his lawyers what his next course of action should be.

He said the resignation letter was not valid as it was not sent by him, although it bore his signature.

He questioned how he could have personally sent the letter to Sivakumar when he was supposed to be “missing” as claimed by PKR leaders.
“And if it was sent by post, then there should be a postmark to show where it was sent from,” he added.

He said there was no reason whatsoever for him to resign just because he had problems with his party leaders.

“My problems are with PKR leaders, not with the people of Behrang. I will not shirk my responsibilities,” he said. Jamaluddin however refused to divulge his whereabouts saying that he was safe and was not confined by force by anyone.

He also denied rumours that he would be crossing over to Umno, but confirmed he would quit PKR and remain as an Independent.

Mohd Osman said there was no reason for him to resign and he would continue to serve as a representative of the people.

Both of them said in a statement late last night that they would reveal more in a press conference today. They created a stir in Perak by “disappearing” from the scene since Jan 26.

Earlier yesterday, Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Mohammad Nizar Jamaluddin admitted that the two men have been incommunicado since the first day of Chinese New Year.
Even family members and Pakatan leaders, he said, could not contact the two whom he claimed had been “stolen or kidnapped by Barisan and specifically Umno.”

“For the past five days, I have tried to call them and SMS them, but failed. I even contacted the cellular operators and gave them their numbers but they could not be detected.

“Not even their family members could reach them, it’s impossible,” he told reporters after an emergency meeting with Pakatan assemblymen at his residence here.

Nizar believed that their disappearance was a Barisan “evil ploy” to bring down the state government by taking advantage of the two assemblymen who are schedueld to face corruption proceedings on Feb 10.

When Paranormal Is In Between Our World

The occurrence of paranormal is a general fact that describes unusual experiences that lack a scientific explanation, or phenomena alleged to be outside of science's current ability to explain. Approaching the paranormal from a research perspective is often difficult because of the lack of acceptance of the physical reality of most of the purported phenomena. By definition, the paranormal does not conform to conventional expectations of the natural. Despite this challenge, studies on the paranormal are periodically conducted by researchers all from various disciplines. Some researchers study just the beliefs in the paranormal regardless of whether the phenomena are considered to objectively exist. This section deals with various approaches to the paranormal: anecdotal, experimental, and participant-observer approaches, the skeptical investigation approach and the survey approach. People always relate the facts of paranormal incident to unusual supernatural existence. Whether it is true or false, none of the explanation in the name of science could ever solve the mystery of its occurrence. Supernatural is often relate to the existence of ghosts among the living and used to be said as a “dead, bad spirit.” What I like about this article is that human can’t prove how strong the facts about what they can’t even see among all the occurrence of the paranormal incidents. Even every legends and myths of the supernatural existence can’t be that simple to be told as a true story. That’s why for some people, we did share our space with the other side world that we can’t even expect what is it.

Milk

Milk is an opaque white liquid produced by the mammary glands of female mammals (including monotremes). It provides the primary source of nutrition for newborn mammals before they are able to digest other types of food. The early lactation milk is known as colostrum, and carries the mother's antibodies to the baby. It can reduce the risk of many diseases in the baby. The exact components of raw milk varies by species, but it contains significant amounts of saturated fat, protein and calcium as well as vitamin C. Cow's milk has a pH ranging from 6.4 to 6.8, making it slightly acidic.
In almost all mammals, milk is fed to infants through breastfeeding, either directly or, for humans, by expressing the milk to be stored and consumed later. Some cultures, historically or currently, continue to use breast milk to feed their children until they are 7 years old.

The Martial Art From Chinese Ancestors

Kung fu and wushu are popular terms that have become synonymous with Chinese martial arts. However, the Chinese terms kung fu and wushu have very different meanings. Wushu can describe greatly varying martial arts traditions. In Chinese, kung fu can be used in contexts completely unrelated to martial arts, and refers colloquially to any individual accomplishment or skill cultivated through long and hard work. In contrast, wushu is a more precise term for general martial activities. The term wushu has also become the name for a modern sport similar to gymnastics, involving the performance of adapted Chinese bare-handed and weapons forms judged to a set of contemporary aesthetic criteria for points. The origins of Chinese martial arts can be traced over 6,000 years ago to self-defense needs, hunting activities and military training in ancient China. Hand-to-hand combat and weapons practice were important components in the training of Chinese soldiers. From this beginning, Chinese martial arts proceeded to incorporate different philosophies and ideas into its practice; expanding its purpose from self-defense to health maintenance and finally as method of self-cultivation. Conversely, the influence of martial arts ideals in civilian society can be found in poetry, fiction, and film. Chinese martial arts are now an integral element of Chinese culture. These martial arts, for me, it is something that we can practice as one type of exercise besides it’s useful for self-defense. Somehow it is hard to practice it as even the professional martial arts master took a decade to master the entire practical move. But then in nowadays, kung fu and wushu are the last things people want to think about as many of us do not pay attention to the ancestors practical culture that once upon the time is what everyone should learn.

A perfect place for holiday..
LANGKAWI ISLAND..

The Langkawi archipelago is made up of a cluster of 99 islands, sprinkled just off the shores of the Northern Kedah State in Peninsular Malaysia. During low tide, the number of islands expands to 104. It's understandable that only a few islands are inhabited. Many of the islands are little more than rocky outcrops separated by narrow canals where only sampans(little boats) can travel through. Langkawi island (478.5 sq.km) is the largest of them all and is not much smaller than Singapore (646 sq.km) but has a much smaller island population of only 62,000.

Pulau Langkawi's landscape is painted with marbled mountains, vast paddy fields and rural villages, miles and miles of white sandy beaches, secret caves, and pockets of virgin rainforests dating back millions of years .

Although tourism is the main industry for the people of Langkawi and has been for the past decade or so, the sea remains a healthy source of income for local fishermen. In pockets of local fishing communities one can still find the age-old cottage industry of harvesting, drying and processing of sea cucumbers into a balsamic oil for all sorts of minor ailment.

Langkawi's Legends and Hotspots

Centuries ago skilled storytellers on the mainland made a living from spinning wondrous, spectacular tales of folklore, history, myths and legends of celestial beings, demons, warriors and wars, giants, beautiful maidens and gallant heroes. Langkawi was inaccessible to local folks in those days. The Langkawi islands were infested with pirates living and feasting on boats and travellers who chose to sail in their waters. Not many locals ventured to the islands and soon stories abound of these mysterious islands. The myths are still woven strongly into the lifestyle of the local people.

The family feud - Gunung Raya, Guning Mat Cincang& Kuah Town

The various peaks on the island such as Gunung Raya,(the highest mount on the island), Gunung Mat Cincang, Bukit Sewar, Belaga Pecah and Telaga Air Hangat, were named according to the incidents which transpired as a result of a family feud. These first three mountains were purported to be humans while Belaga Pecah(meaning broken pot) was believed to be the spot where a large pot containing gravy was spilt after the pot, used as a missile in the feud, broke there. A cauldron of boiling water was also used as a missile in the fight. The spot where it landed became a series of Hot Springs gushing into the air, giving rise to the name Telaga Air Hangat (meaning hot well water).

Today, Gunung Raya is accessible by road - all the way to the top. Perched on top like the eagle's nest, is an impressive fortress-like building, which is strictly for government officials only and is out of bounds to public. However, the view from the peak is great for sunset photos. There is also a resort located at the peak for those seeking retreat.

Gunung Raya itself is home to the white-bellied sea eagle - circling high round the mountaintop. The hornbills also make their home in the forested area of Gunung Raya. When the road was built, much of the flora was disturbed thus reducing their feeding area. Perhaps due to this, it is far easier now to spot them as they have to fly a greater distance for food. (no good for the jungle inhabitants, although reported to be good for tourists!). If you're driving up the mountain, a charge of 50sen per car is collected at a makeshift toll located at the base of the mount.

Gunung Mat Cincang is open to the public and its peak can be reached via a Cable Car ride all the way up from its base at the Oriental Village. The rides are available from 10.00am till 8.00pm and the fare is RM15 for adults; RM5 for children. Any more information required, call: 04- 959 4225. From the cable car, visitors have a fine view of Langkawi island and beyond. The Telaga Tujuh Waterfall can be seen in full view on the way to the peak. A 7-tiered waterfall, the Telaga Tujuh is a favourite stop for tourists.

Oriental Village - Cable Car Station

The island has taken over Penang Island's duty free status providing shoppers with some pretty good deals on local and foreign products. Many visit Langkawi for its duty-free shopping : for local visitors; products worth purchasing are alcohol and cigarettes; for many foreign guests, electrical goods, handicraft and certain branded goods especially leathergoods and casual attire are well worth a look around. Oriental Village...a stone's throw from the Burau Bay Resort at Pantai Kok, is also where the cable car station is located. One word of advise on duty free though... if you wish to cash in on duty free alcohol and spirits, it's best to purchase this prior to departure at shops in town or at the beaches and places like Oriental Village . The airport duty free shops may price the same items higher.

Don't be misled by the name, Oriental Village is not really a living, breathing traditional local village. The place seems to have been established more specifically to house speciality shops and food outlets rather than an expression of the true local village flavour.

Kuah

Kuah, Langkawi's main town and port where ferries from the mainland and Penang anchor. Numerous duty free shops have sprouted and many new hotels and chalets with prices to suit everyone's budget have been constructed. The main Tourist Information Centre is located a distance away from the ferry jetty, heading towards town. The centre closes at about 4.30pm. However, if you're looking for quieter beaches to park yourself, then grab a taxi and head off to Pantai Cenang, Pantai Kok and the other more secluded areas in the Northern end. A well maintained road runs around the island. Although bus routes are limited on the island, taxis are aplenty and not too expensive. The more adventurous could try bicycles, motorbikes or car available for hire .

Makam Mahsuri

The most famous of Langkawi legends is the Curse of Mahsuri. Mahsuri was a beautiful maiden of Muslim Siamese descent. As with admiration in some, there will always be jealousy in others. Mahsuri's mother-in-law was insanely jealous of her beauty and popularity. She took the opportunity one day to rid Mahsuri as she accused her of adultery during the absence of her husband who had gone off to war. Adultery by local law was a sin punishable by death. Mahsuri was executed in public. As she pleaded her innocence, the executioner plunged a 'keris' or dagger into her. To his surprise, Mahsuri's blood trickled white which signified that she was innocent.

Upon death, Mahsuri placed a curse on Langkawi and its people. For 7 generations, there was to be much tragedy and misfortune. Over years of warring with the Siamese and other natural disasters that befell the island, Langkawi was left to its own. It was said that at one time, buffaloes even outnumbered villagers . It was not until the 80's that the 7th generation passed and the curse was finally lifted.

Mahsuri's tomb is now encased in white marble, quarried from the hills of Langkawi - white symbolising her innocence. Nearby is a well, which Mahsuri used to wash and bathe. Photographs of her descendants are displayed on the board next to her grave.

The Field of Burnt Rice

Soon after Mahsuri's premature death, the formidable Siamese army made an attack on the island. In desperation, the chief ordered the granary to be burnt down to prevent the storage of rice from falling into Siamese hands. The remnants of burnt rice can still be seen at this spot known as the Field of Burnt Rice especially after a heavy downfall that washes out the odd blackened grain or so. The curse is believed to have been the cause of the island's lack of development which lasted until the birth in 1980 of Aishah Nawawi, a direct descendant of Mahsuri, the eighth generation.

So, of all the information,we know that in just an island there are many places to visit and things we can do.

As a conclusion,I suggest everyone to travel Malaysia.Altough its a small country but many tourism place we can go.Besides that, the budget is lower than we travel overseas.

Dance Is For All People

Dance is an art form that generally refers to movement of the body, usually rhythmic and to music, used as a form of expression, social interaction or presented in a spiritual or performance setting. Dance is also used to describe methods of non-verbal communication; a body language between human and the animal, motion in inanimate objects, and certain musical forms or genres. In sports, gymnastics, figure skating and synchronized swimming are dance disciplines while martial arts “kata” are often compared to dances. Definitions of what constitutes dance are dependent on social, cultural, aesthetic, artistic and moral constraints and range from functional movement to virtuoso techniques such as ballet. Dance can be participatory, social or performed for an audience. It can also be ceremonial, competitive or erotic. Dance movements may be without significance in themselves, such as in ballet or European folk dance, or have a gestural vocabulary/symbolic system as in many Asian dances. Dance can embody or express ideas, emotions or tell a story. Through this article, I want to share a little bit about NGAJAT, traditional dance from Iban people. Ngajat comes from many different symbolic. For example, Ngajat Ruai for Gawai Dayak celebration on 31st of May every year, Ngajat Ngelalu Temuai for formal occasions, and Ngajat Ngeliling Ranyai for the meditation ceremonies. The best thing in Ngajat is this dance is like a symbol of the bravery of Iban worriors long time ago. Although I’m one of Ibans, I can’t dance that good as my grandfather. But then, what I’m trying to say is every races come with different dances and each of them are unique that I am enjoying watching it. Perhaps that made Malaysian a unique country.

The first pheromone ever identified (in 1956) was a powerful sex attractant for silkworm moths. A team of German researchers worked 20 years to isolate it. After removing certain glands at the tip of the abdomen of 500,000 female moths, they extracted a curious compound. The minutest amount of it made male moths beat their wings madly in a "flutter dance." This clear sign that the males had sensed the attractant enabled the scientists to purify the pheromone. Step by step, they removed extraneous matter and sharply reduced the amount of attractant needed to provoke the flutter dance.

When at last they obtained a chemically pure pheromone, they named it "bombykol" for the silkworm moth, "Bombyx mori" from which it was extracted. It signaled, "come to me!" from great distances. "It has been soberly calculated that if a single female moth were to release all the bombykol in her sac in a single spray, all at once, she could theoretically attract a trillion males in the instant," wrote Lewis Thomas in The Lives of a Cell.

In dealing with mammals, however, scientists faced an entirely different problem. Compared to insects, whose behavior is stereotyped and highly predictable, mammals are independent, ornery, complex creatures. Their behavior varies greatly, and its meaning is not always clear.

What scientists need is "a behavioral assay that is really specific, that leaves no doubt," explains Alan Singer of the Monell Chemical Senses Center. A few years ago, Singer and Foteos Macrides of the Worcester Foundation for Experimental Biology in Massachusetts did find an assay that worked with hamsters—but the experiment would be hard to repeat with larger mammals.

It went as follows: First the researchers anesthetized a male golden hamster and placed it in a cage. Then they let a normal male hamster into the same cage. The normal hamster either ignored the anesthetized stranger or bit its ears and dragged it around the cage.

Next the researchers repeated the procedure with an anesthetized male hamster on which they had rubbed some vaginal secretions from a female hamster. This time the normal male hamster's reaction was quite different: instead of rejecting the anesthetized male, the hamster tried to mate with it.

Eventually Singer isolated the protein that triggered this clear-cut response. "Aphrodisin," as the researchers called it, appears to be a carrier protein for a smaller molecule that is tightly bound to it and may be the real pheromone. The substance seems to work through the VNO, since male hamsters do not respond to it when their VNOs have been removed.

Many other substances have powerful effects on lower mammals, but the pheromones involved have not been precisely identified and it is not clear whether they activate the VNO or the main olfactory system, or both.

Humans are "the hardest of all" mammals to work with, Singer says. Yet some studies suggest that humans may also respond to some chemical signals from other people. In 1971, Martha McClintock, a researcher who is now at the University of Chicago (she was then at Harvard University), noted that college women who lived in the same dormitory and spent a lot of time together gradually developed closer menstrual cycles. Though the women's cycles were randomly scattered when they arrived, after a while their timing became more synchronized.

McClintock is now doing a new study of women's menstrual cycles, based on her findings from an experiment with rats. When she exposed a group of female rats—let's call them the "A" rats—to airborne "chemosignals" taken from various phases of other rats' estrous cycles, she discovered that one set of signals significantly shortened the A rats' cycles, while another set lengthened them. Now she wants to know whether the same is true for humans—whether there are two opposing pheromones that can either delay or advance women's cycles. In this study, she is focusing on the exact time of ovulation rather than on synchrony.

The most direct scientific route to understanding pheromones and the VNO may, once again, be through genetics. Working with sensory neurons from the VNOs of rats, Catherine Dulac and Richard Axel found a new family of genes that "are likely to encode mammalian pheromone receptors," they reported in 1995. Axel and Buck's teams also found a similar family in the VNO's of mice.

Both groups estimate there must be 50 to 100 distinct genes of this kind in VNO neurons. Since then, Buck's team and that of Catherine Dulac, who is now an HHMI investigator at Harvard, have found a second family of likely pheromone receptors in mammalian VNOs; these, too, are expected to include about 100 genes. "Now we have to match up pheromones and receptors," Buck declares.

Once the genes for such receptors are definitively identified, it should be relatively easy to find out whether equivalent genes exist in humans. Scientists could then determine, once and for all, whether such genes are expressed in the human nose. If they are, the receptors may provide a new scientific clue to the compelling mystery of attraction between men and women—some evidence of real, measurable sexual chemistry.

I want to tell you shortly about an article that i have been read last week about the Geography and Early History of Israel and Palestine. The land variously called Israel and Palestine is a small, (10,000 square miles at present) land at the eastern end of the Mediterranean Sea. During its long history, its area, population and ownership varied greatly. The present state of Israel occupies all the land from the Jordan river to the Mediterranean ocean, bounded by Egypt in the south, Lebanon in the north, and Jordan in the East. The recognized borders of Israel constitute about 78% of the land. The remainder is divided between land occupied by Israel since the 1967 6-day war and the autonomous regions under the control of the Palestinian autonomy. The Gaza strip occupies an additional 141 square miles south of Israel, and is under the control of the Palestinian authority.

Palestine has been settled continuously for tens of thousands of years. Fossil remains have been found of Homo Erectus, Neanderthal and transitional types between Neanderthal and modern man. Archeologists have found hybrid Emmer wheat at Jericho dating from before 8,000 B.C., making it one of the oldest sites of agricultural activity in the world. Amorites, Canaanites, and other Semitic peoples related to the Phoenicians of Tyre entered the area about 2000 B.C. The area became known as the Land of Canaan.

Crohn's Disease

Diet and nutrition concerns of patients with inflammatory bowel disease are extremely common, and appropriate. Patients often believe that their disease is caused by, and can be cured by diet. Unfortunately, that seems to be too simplistic an approach, which is not supported by clinical and scientific data. Diet can certainly affect symptoms of these diseases, and may play some role in the underlying inflammatory process, but it appears not to be the major factor in the inflammatory process.

Because Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis are diseases of the digestive tract, it is only natural that you will have many questions about diet and nutrition if you have been diagnosed with one of these disorders. First of all, you may be surprised to learn that there is no evidence that anything in your diet history caused or contributed to these diseases. Once you develop IBD, however, paying special attention to what you eat may go a long way toward reducing symptoms and promoting healing.

TOTALLY FITNAH!

Have you watch this short film? If not you suppose to watch this film so you can see the creativity of Greet Wilders who try to make the whole world believe that Islam is terrorist religion, but it failure I think.

Actually, this film totally affronts our religion. I’m not promoting this film but I just want everyone who watches this film to think the pro and contra of this film. As a Muslim, we know the true of our religion. But, what about non-Muslim? They must think that it is true. So, this is our role to explain the truth of Islam.

Why they can to show the film like this? From my opinion, this is because of our own weaknesses. We are lake of knowledge about our own religion. They take this advantage to attack us not in war but in internet, a big medium which all people will know directly.

Personality I think that only the people, not the religion (Islam) who’s bad, the bad one are that people on the movie who strike terror, mock and disrespect other religion and use Islam as their shield, I believe there’s no religion that bad that deserve hell, all religion are the way people to follow the road of God.I am a Muslim and I believe on Allah, I believe that God exist, and God only one, the great one only one, but people call him on many name, no matter if you call him God, Tuhan, or Allah, he one you call are the same, he is the great one, the creator of al things, I believe on God, why? I can’t see him, but I can feel him, just like you eat ice cream, you fell its cold, but can you see what cold’s form.

Malaysia, a country that acknowledges 4 religion, Islam, Hindu, Buddha, and Christian. I live in community where we respect each other, I befriend many friends that have different religion, and we respect each other.

So I think Greet Wilder is too harsh on this movie, he is wrong, the one who take the blame of this entire not the religion, but those beast who use religion it self as shield. I had read one article about Bomb on Bali a couple days ago. The author wrote that the culprits also one of them, one of beast who use Islam as shield, Beast who can laugh even after he captured, his objective is to kill all the tourist that he think as animals cause they drink alcohol, drunk, wear cloth that exposé to much (sexy), but he don’t realize that he is the actual beast, he take innocent live. my friend in junior high school lost her father on incident, her father work as security on one of the location of the bomb, that’s just make me more angry with them who so selfish, and then use religion to shield them self

Well, if this religion conflict keep up, I am sure this world will end in no time, the end of world is on human’s hand, if we continue like this then the end of time is near, but if we respect and love each other, then the world lifetime will longer.

So to anyone who read this, keep peace and respect each other. Peace!

LET'S THINK MY FRIENDS..
COMPUTER=MATHEMATIC

Sat on pondering, recall how I do clever in using the computer. For knowledge all, I never participated in any course computer-related, but all it I learn with myself and also sometimes it learn through friends and nearest relative.

Overall, me more to self-taught. All because of my sense, every time we have to face internal problem using the computer, we will solve it using our mathematics skill.
The mathematical concept I mean is, how the number need to be moved, must multiply, must enhanced like using computer. We would think, where come from the computer problem as similar like mathematics problem then we try to move stated figure so it easier to see the solution.

All the solution computer problem and ways to learn computer are same. We know that, if in the technical school, computer class will be participated also with the subject additional mathematics so students can use what idea during resolve mathematics problem with the computering problem.

STORY ABOUT MOSQUITO

We have seen the mosquito are in small size, however they have been around for more than 30 million years. Mosquitoes are insects in the family Culicidae. They have a pair of scaled wings, a pair of halteres, a slender body, and long legs. The females of most mosquito species suck blood (hematophagy) from other animals, which has made them the most deadly disease vector known, killing millions of people over thousands of years and continuing to kill millions per year by the spread of diseases.

The mosquito use chemical, visual and heat sensors to locate their prey. There are approximately 2,700 species of mosquitoes with the majority belonging to 3 major genera: aedes (eggs are laid in floodwater areas), anopheles (eggs are laid in permanent fresh water) and culex (eggs are laid in quiet, standing water). Most male mosquitoes died after mating whereas female mosquitoes will continue to live for a few weeks.

Based on the results i search on the internet, mosquito bites can be treated by washing them with soap and water. Use anti-itch medicines, such as Calamine lotion, to avoid from scratching the bite area. To repel mosquitoes, wear clothing that covers most of your body, use a mosquito repellant that contains NN-diethyl-meta-toluamide (DEET) and eliminate sources of standing water in your area to prevent mosquitoes from breeding

GHOST @ PHANTOM

I am choosing to write my opinion here, about one 'creature' majority people fear to it. The questions are ;

*
Whom the phantom or ghost?
*
what was the authority those owned by him?
*
do they slay human?
*
have newspaper tell human died killed phantom?
*
have Friday’s sermon telling a tale cause phantom?
*
have imam of mosque read chapter sound phantom word in Arabic language?
* have you touch phantom?

I am not challenge the spirit in order to talk about this, but I want to give my opinion of this creature as those me know. In common Malay, we call this creature as ‘hantu’, jembalang, and others but in actual fact, in common Arabic; they call genie (jin), devil (syaitan), devil (iblis) and others.

I mean here, ghost whose we suspicious that make devil. They can appear in human face those who had died. Devil may be manifested deep sorts appearance but a body only those no could be conjured by it namely greatest human, Nabi Muhammad s.a.w. We ever hear sort’s story about people possessed phantom. In fact that not phantom them but that were Jin's creature create before human existence. Them as we, life on earth and undergo life like humans namely calving, eat, religious and others.

They stay in the universe cannot be seen by us. Jin or Genie has that Islam and there are also those infidels. Genie that infidel that is that is frequently used by the medicine man or magician to prophesy fate or get something. Worship or worship apart from Allah s.w.t is illegal. That sin is polytheism. If people unrepentant before them dead, then stated sin would cause them stay in hell for good because polytheism sin is unforgiving in hereafter soon.

Burger Patties

Patties made of ground or minced beef or ground chuck are generally used in hamburgers. When other meats such as venison, bison, pork, chicken, turkey, or fish are used, the name of the burger generally changes accordingly, prefixed by the name of the meat source. For example, a turkey burger uses a patty of ground turkey meat, and buffalo burgers are made with bison patties. A Jersey burger consists of hamburger and fish (fillet or burger) in one bun. Veggie burgers (alternately called a tofu burger. veggieburger or garden burger) use a meat substitute (for example, tofu, TVP, seitan (wheat gluten), or an assortment of vegetables, nuts or soy protein, which are ground up and mashed into patties) for the vegetarian and vegan consumer. Burgers with non-beef patties are often marketed as more exotic than hamburgers or as being healthier than beef-patties.

It is meant to help one overcome obstacles, which can be anything in the surrounding environment such as from branches and rocks to rails and concrete walls and can be practiced in both rural and urban areas. Parkour practitioners are referred to as traceurs, or traceuses for females.

Founded by David Belle, parkour focuses on practicing efficient movements to develop one's body and mind to be able to overcome obstacles in an emergency.

Parkour is closer to martial art. We have to dicipline our self to become a good traceur. With this activity,we can have healthier body.It is an unique activity that everyone can learn but must have good discipline to learn quick.
