The presenter is telling the audience about the mistakes which people do always makes during using powerpoint. The presenter has a good sense of humour and he know to use his talent by non-stop giving jokes besides giving his points to the audience. This is a good example for us to learn when giving a talk because this will let the audience would pat attention to us and we can make the environment of the speech become cheerful. As we can see, the presenter approaches jokes and jokes while he is sending his points and information to the audience. Therefore, the audience will easily remember and flash back his points when think of his memorable and funny jokes.

The presenter give some examples and notes on the screen in his presentation. This can make audience more easy to understand and receive the information. Audience will have a true picture and imagine of the presentation in their mind. Also, the presenter some time will giving joke to make sure the audience not bored and always with him.
This video is quite funny, although it makes you laugh,it also gives us useful tips in what not to do during preparing power point.this video also makes me realize something really interesting. When i saw this video,i was quite sleepy but at the moment the speaker starts presenting his points,i started becoming more interested in the topic that he is discussing about. This hits me that the best way in giving a speech is by jokes.Well, but of course it is my personal view.
Don McMillan is a very talkative presenter. and thats good, excellent. but, one thing i dislike about him. my first impression through him. though he is good in making jokes ,makes his audience laugh but i slightly unease about his facial expression. no friendly face at all. the first thing i thought was "wow this speaker really does look mad. look at his face not even smile" i am no longer in mood to hear what he say. if there are no audience, just me and the speaker. i dont think i will laugh heavily like the audience in the video. but 'dont judge a book by its cover' right. and for sure this is just MY COMMENT..
For the first time i see this movie,i cannot understand what he want to present for his students. After i repeat again,i see that he use more graphics to make student understand clearly. He loves to make a joke and make his student laughter with his joke.Eventhough his voice clear but he always makes spelling mistakes.I loves his speak .

From this video clip, when we present our power point presentation, use a short text at the slide and try to memories the important point and explain it by own word. Don use too many bullet point at key point and don't use a bad color for the background such as yellow, light blue, act. Don make the audience confuse and bored to what we are present.
This video is from Don MacMillan. He states that presenter should not put everything in his or her slide. I definately agree with him because the slide will be mixed up and it will be difficult for audience to read the slide until they get cross eyed! Excess bullet also will cause the same problem. The background colours and the font are also important. If the presenter does not know how to play with these elements, he or she will definitely have their audience DEAD or at least unconscious! My suggestion is to use more colour or picture to catch the audience attention... :)
Hello again..what I can say about this video clip is that the presenter is very confident.Indeed,it is quite funny about the way he presents,it is really blasts me out.For instance,he gave examples "do not put everything that we need to say in the power point" and at the same time,he do the tricks. Also,we need to use a suitable colour and be careful with that because some of the colours could affects other peoples emotions. What I can say about him is he is very experienced in talking.

hmm... this presenter is so funny.. he know how to attract his audience to hear his presentations.. he tell us that we cannot put every word that we want to talked into the powerpoint because it will make the powerpoint presentations crowded and so bored.. colour that we choose in the power point presentations also important..so, we need to know how to choose the right colour..this presenter are talk too fast and he looks funny with his face like that..so, the presentations will not bored..
In this video, the person tells us to use one point per slide, few matching colours, very few fonts and use photos not clip art. He also tells us not to use too many bullets point per slide, bad colour scheme as it will make the audience confuse and distract and always analyse the fonts we want to use to ensure the effectiveness.

The clips ‘ppt_don_macmillan’ gives us the tips on how to use make a good presentation. We should not speak every single word that is stated on the power point so as to not losing the audience’s attention. The use of bullets and bad colour schemes also lead to bad presentation. We should also run spell check before presentation so that our presentation runs perfectly.

assalamualaikum miss..
based on the video what i can say that the presnter is quite good because he present with the most confident and have a energizer voice but there's something that i don't agree with the presenter are,he not see the audience..he just read the slide show even he brainy to do jokes and makes the audience fell enjoy hearing his presentation..other than that, the presenter also static and not doing the body language..sometimes this will make the audience feel bored..actually the presenter also should do the body language at least move arounds the audience so that the audience feel that the presenter realise that they are here..

He speaks very fast and entertaining. He makes an audiences feel enjoy with his performances. He very good confident with his talks and dont make some mistakes. He also had delivered a good impotant message for audiences about powerpoint.
At last, he is very good entertainer with his presentations.

It's pretty cool about this video. Fun, Interesting and Laughable! Hahaha! At the same time I leant some of the DON'T (mistakes) in making a powerpoint slide. At least we would be more careful and creative next time when we need to do a powerpoint presentation slide. And ya topic that may bored the audience can turn out to be interesting to the audience if we find a way to make something different from usual ("Out of the ordinary")
its hilarious. there are many people like to using powerpoint as a medium of presentation, but they not using it in proper way. they extravagant and eager to put all flying, bouncing, disappearing, and all that silly movement. they focusing more on the movement but less on their point. The slide made for audience so dont pretend that audience can read themselves.
This modern life creates technologies that ease human life.
Power point is one of them. Our creative minds always wana pop up with something new and creative. In fact, not all can be accept. Sometimes too crowded, colourful, animated extremely, messy and etc. That is "life after death by power point". What it is told by Don Mcmillan is definitely true.
